Uxbridge, Ontario - Christmas Home Tour
Waking up to snow on the ground this morning my thoughts drifted to Christmas and the The Christmas Home Tour.
Created to provide assistance and awareness to groups or individuals within our community the Uxbridge Christmas Home Tour is just one week away. New this year, in addition to the tour you can enjoy "Christmas by Design" at Wooden Sticks with Kimberley Seldon, broadcast personality, interior designer, author, journalist, and keynote speaker.
Visit six local homes all decorated and ready for Christmas with the help of volunteers, home owners, decorators & florists.
This year the recipient of the monies raised is Precious Minds a local organization that provides support to families of children with learning barriers. Since the tours inception in 2004 over $100,000 has been raised for local charities.
When Saturday November 13th 2010
6 Home Tour - 10am to 4:30pm
requires passport $25.00
Tour plus "Christmas by Design"
"An Evening with Kimberley Seldon, Christmas snacks/treats, coffee/tea, cash bar & prizes"
requires VIP passes
VIP passes $60.00 available only at Blue Heron Books
Tickets will not be available at the homes
Tickets can be purchased at Canadian Tire, Blue Heron Books or Presents Presents in Uxbridge, Perry Ann's in Port Perry and Inside Out in Stouffville.
Tickets purchased by Nov 08th are eligible for an "Early Bird Draw" which will take place at Wooden Sticks in the evening. Winners will be contacted by phone if not present.
